Meeting monthly, a coalition of organizations and individuals meet to increase cooperation and information-sharing on themes, issues, or events that engage and mobilize the public to end global poverty and inequality. This working group arose from the Make Poverty History campaign.

Saturday, October 15, 2011 - Food for All: A Conference on Poverty and Global Food Security To mark World Food Day and the International Day for the Eradication of poverty the conference explored questions involving the problems and solution to these issues. An exciting line-up of speakers delivered short, engaging talks, followed by interactive workshops that linked global poverty and food justice issues with local concerns, and created an environment to come up with a plan of action to be carried forward to affect real change.
Saturday, October 17, 2009 - To mark the International Day for the Eradication of Poverty STOP: Steps to Overcome Poverty was a day-long public forum at the Vancouver Community College, City Centre campus that featured guest speakers, panel discussions, and opportunities to learn and share strategies around ending local and global poverty.
October 17th, 2008 - Stand Up Take Action participants shared their pledges to end poverty;.photos were turned into a slideshow and posted on Youtube.
