This Is Leadership

For more than five years, the Creatively United for the Planet Society has been bringing thousands of people together in celebration of community leadership at their annual Earth Week event.

This non-profit collective operates altruistically as community animators and connectors in support of healthy, happy, beautiful and resilient communities. Here is a video that captures their work:

In response to on-going requests for a community hub that showcases environmental and social justice champions, The Creatively United for the Planet non-profit society has created thisisleadership.org, a FREE on-line community portal. This Is Leadership showcases and celebrates Vancouver Island leadership and change-makers with the understanding that real leadership is in the inspired actions people take to improve the quality of life in their community.

Individuals, organizations, businesses, institutions and groups are invited to post information and events, resources, be part of a community directory, and share their success stories, ideas and accomplishments. To keep the conversations going and growing and build support for all the amazing organizations doing herowork in our community, public participation is encouraged in This Is Leadership.org
The 6th Annual Creatively United Earth Day Festival & Sustainability Showcase will be held indoors Sat., April 22nd at the Royal BC Museum, 675 Belleville St., from 10 am to 5 pm, and feature numerous community groups, artists and leaders. Admission is free with some ticketed events. If you are interested in having a display, please contact info@creativelyunited.org
