Catharine Kendall is passionately committed to community in general and children in particular. Cat is a foster parent of 3 amazing young children and one awesome biological teen son/big brother. She provides sanctuary for her family of children, animals and WWOOFers (www.wwoof.ca) on her organic farm. Cat is self employed as a Community Development Consultant and provides animal assisted psychotherapy for community members in need with her horses. Cat is very active in her local and provincial community as Vice President of the Eaglet Lake Farmers’ Institute, Executive Director of Connaught Youth Centre Society and as Director of the We Can BC Society, a provincial violence against women prevention campaign initiated in South East Asia. Cat brings a unique “big picture” grassroots perspective to her Global Neighbourhood Network coordinator role in Prince George, BC.
