SPOTLIGHT: WUSC UBC 2010 Refugee Rights Symposium

In collaboration with Uniterra and the Liu Migration Network, WUSC UBC presents to you a three-day series of dialogue and action centred on raising awareness about refugee rights and the UN Millennium Development Goal of gender equality.

All events are free, however, donations for the Shine A Light campaign (http://shinealight.wusc.ca) will be welcome.

**WEDNESDAY (MARCH 17)**
SPOTLIGHT ON STORIES: Personal Stories of Newcomer Journeys to Canada
WHERE: Global Lounge (2205 Lower Mall, Marine Drive Residence)
WHEN: 7:30pm-9pm
- Free entry - donations to Shine A Light campaign welcome
- There will be a light meal available at only $3.00 a plate

**THURSDAY (MARCH 18)**
SPOTLIGHT ON REFUGEE RIGHTS: Balancing System Processes and Human Rights
WHERE: Liu Institute (6476 NW Marine Drive)
WHEN: 6-8pm (doors open at 5:30pm)
