Open Forum on Civil Society Development Effectiveness

What are the key principles that underlie your public engagement work in Canada?

This is one of the questions we will be examining at the Canadian Consultation for the Open Forum on Civil Society Development Effectiveness that will take place on March 16-18, 2010 in Gatineau, Quebec.  To help focus the discussion, the Consultation will concentrate on two broad areas of issues in CSO development effectiveness: 1) North/South CSO relationships; and 2) the ways in which Canadian CSOs engage their public constituencies in Canada.  The invitation below was sent to the person who is our principle contact for your organization. Given your organization’s efforts in engaging Canadians on global issues, we would like to encourage experienced people in your organization to participate in this important dialogue.   More than one participant per organization is welcome and the event is open to both member and non-member organizations.
