Engineers Without Borders Connect 2012

EWB Connect 2012aims to bring together like-minded professionals and future engineering leaders to explore how engineers can better serve their local and international community. Keynote speaker George Roter will share his experiences as the CEO of Engineers Without Borders and explore the concept of the global engineer. Other speakers will include a representative from Acumen Fund, and a returned Engineers Without Borders overseas volunteer. 

The event will feature appetizers, a cash bar, live performances, a silent art auction, and industry networking booths. Proceeds will contribute towards the EWB SFU Junior Fellowship Program – an overseas international development volunteer placement. 

The event will take place on Thursday, February 2, 2012; 7pm - 11pm at the SFU Segal School of Business, 500 Granville Street, Vancouver, BC
