The 2010 People's Summit: Building a Movement for a Just World

Proposals are currently invited for the program of the 2010 People's Summit taking place in Toronto from June 18 - 20, 2010.  The initial deadline is April 1, 2010. The summit will create a space for community organizers, activists, NGOs, independent media, workers, artists - the people - to mobilize for global justice in advance of the G8/G20 Summits happening June 25-27 in Huntsville and Toronto.

World Water Day 2010

March 22 is World Water Day! World Water Day is a United Nations designation meant to draw attention to global water quality issues.

The World Water Day 2010 theme is Water Quality and the slogan is "Clean Water for a Healthy World". UNEP is the UN agency leading on World Water Day this year.

Bridging the Gap and Hans Rosling

EWB's Bridging the Gap Conference is taking place on March 27, 2010 at UBC.  Passionate students and professionals will explore how local actions impact extreme poverty.
