And that’s a Wrap for the Summer, Folks! #devdrinks
It was a full house on June 2nd at the Blarney Stone for International Development Drinks’ last event of the summer! Average attendance since September 2010 has been over 140 people (wow, actually, that’s a lot). Thank you so much to everyone who volunteered their time, to those who took the time to give a presentation, as well as those who made the trek downtown through the rain so we could see your lovely faces!
This particular event featured presentations from Daniela Papi (PDF of presentation) and Ajay Puri (PDF of presentation). We also heard from EWB and a couple BCCIC staff members regarding upcoming special events. All the mingling culminated with a toast to freedom with Amnesty International! Stay tuned for the next get-together this fall!

I've just watched the full video from Ajay Puri presentation. For some reason I seem unable to open the PDF presentations. I just wanted to say that the video presentations are inspiring, and that I am glad that there are such devoted individuals around the globe who are willing to put so much energy into good deeds.
